The third Psychiatric Consultation Camp was conducted by Sai Ganesh Foundation at Sai Samarpan premises for the special children of Sai Samarpan and also other parents/special children who were interested in availing the services provided by the Trust. Nearly 25 children’ parents could benefit from the camp. The camp was conducted by Dr.C.J.Maikandaan MD and Senior Neuro Psychiatrist also our Trustee alongwith his colleague MD. The consultations started at 10 am and went upto 1.30 pm followed by lunch arranged for all the children and invitees by Sai Ganesh Foundation.

The International Autism Day was celebrated at Sai Samarpan on the 3rd of April 2019 by taking the special children trainess on a field trip to a coconut farm at Kancheepuram. An AC Van was hired the children were picked up around 9 am and were taken to the Coconut farm at Domel near Kancheepuram. Snacs and lunch were arranged by the Trust. The children had their fill of coconut water in the farm enjoyed music and dance together and had good fun.  It was a good get together and fostered social behaviour among them. One special parent also accomapanied alongwith Sai Samarpan Staff and two trustees.

Sai Samarpan Trainees/ Staff and Trustees celebrated Pongal at the Centre with the local community residents and  special invitees. New Dresses for the children  for Pongal were sponsored by Shri.Murugavel of Kotak Mahindra Bank. The Cultural Programme was sponsored by Smt.Usha Sridhar retired SBI staff and a close associate of Sai Samarpan. Special Parents and Special Children from CLAPS a Community Living Association for Parents of Special Citizens were Special invitees who graced the occasion with their presence. A sumptuous lunch was arranged by all the community residents and the trustees for all the invitees.

 

International Disability Day was celebrated at Sai Samarpan on 3rd Dec 2018 with a Special Sports Event conducted by Dr.Radhika Bharath and her team from Emerging Fit a Close Associate of Sai Samarpan . Shri.A.Murugavel Executive  from Kotak Mahindra Bank had also joined with family and sponsored gift hampers of various hygiene items to the Special Children and  an attractive shoulder bag to each one of them. The Children enjoyed a sumptuous lunch sponsored by Shri.Venkatraman of Sree Lakshmi Catering Services, Chennai.
